Bicentennial of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour Ceremony at General Enoch Poor’s grave/First Reformed Church and nearby Poor Monument, dedicated by NJSSAR on Oct. 7, 1904. Lafayette was at the original funeral and visited Poor’s grave on his Farewell Tour 200 years ago in July 1825, noting, ‘Ah, that was one of my Generals.’ Renowned Lafayette reenactor, Michael Halbert, will be there.
